April 13, 2011 | Silver City, NM -- Walmart recently gave a $2,500 community grant to the GRMC Auxiliary for use in supporting their Gila Regional Cancer Center (GRCC) Lunch program. Senator Howie Morales and Representative Rudy Martinez worked with Grant County's Walmart manager Johnny Williams to secure the grant.

The Auxiliary budgets over $250 a month in $1 and $5 coupons that are gifted to Cancer Center patients to purchase food at the GRMC Courtyard Café. The GRMC Auxiliary accepts donations and memorial gifts to support this program.

April 4, 2011 | Silver City, NM -- Members of the local AARP Chapter 1496 of Grant County recently gave a $500 donation to the Gila Regional Medical Center Auxiliary Cancer Center Lunch Program. The program provides Gila Regional Cancer Center patients with coupons that can be used to purchase food at the GRMC Courtyard Café.
