At Gila Regional Pediatrics, we are dedicated to caring for your children by offering treatment for a wide range of conditions, including:

  • Routine Newborn Follow-up from Hospital Discharge for Term and Preterm Babies at days 2-5 of life
  • One (1) month follow-up of Newborns for well checks
  • Well Child Check in The First 2 years of life as follows:
  • 2 week check-up (including the repeat Newborn Metabolic Screen/PKU) - 6 months - 15 months
  • 2 month check-up - 9 months - 18 months
  • 4 month check-up - 12 months - 2 years
  • Annual Well Checks: 3- 18 years old
  • Sports Physical Exams
  • Circumcisions for term and preterm newborns, respectively to 4 and 6 weeks of life
  • Frenotomy (treatment of Tongue-Tie)- up to 2 weeks of age
  • Wart Removal
  • Ingrown Toe/Fingernail Treatment
  • Suture or Minor Lacerations under 24hrs from injury & Suture Removal
  • Skin Abscess Incision, Drainage and Treatment
  • Diagnosis and Management of Corneal Abrasions
  • Sick Child Visits including those with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Asthma, Upper & Lower Respiratory Tract Infections, Gastroenteritis, Urinary Tract Infections, etc.
  • Evaluation, Management and Follow-Up of the following:
    - Learning/Intellectual Disability
    - Developmental Delay: Down Syndrome
    - Behavior Disorders: Autism, ADD, ADHD
    - Asthma, Diabetes, Seizure Disorders with 3 monthly checks
  • Evaluation, Management in Consultation with local law enforcement, child protective services and sub- specialists of suspected or known cases of child neglect or abuse
  • Referrals for management of Pediatric patients up to 18 years with various organic /metabolic pathologies to sub-specialists and co-management with such sub- specialists
  • Immunizations
  • Hearing and Vision Screens
  • Rapid Testing for RSV, Influenza, Strep, Infectious Mononucleosis
  • Blood tests for anemia and serum lead levels
  • Urinalysis
  • Education of Parents/Caregivers and Patients in the managements of their conditions
