FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM AND DISCOUNT POLICY

As the leading source of high quality care in the 4-county area, we are pleased to provide financial assistance for medically necessary care in a fair, consistent, respectful, and objective manner for low income patients who are uninsured or under-insured.
Non-discrimination: GRMC shall offer financial assistance to any eligible and financially qualified patient who has received medically necessary or other eligible/covered services. Program participation status will be based on an individual residency status, medical necessity, and financial eligibility regardless of race, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, serious medical condition, physical or mental handicap, religion, age, spousal affiliation, sexual orientation, and gender identification.

Patient Financial Services -- Office Hours
Hours: Monday - Friday: 8 am to 4:30 pm
Location: 1313 32nd Street (located in a small building on the east side of the hospital building)

You will receive a separate bill for physician services: radiology, anesthesiology, cardiology, pathology, emergency room physicians and other physician consultation fees.
You will be billed directly by the physicians providing these services.
We bill most insurance companies for you. We will bill your insurance provider for serivces received at Gila Regional. Currently we accept most insurances. At the time of your admission to the hospital, satisfactory financial arrangements need to be made for paying your hospital account. Once your hospital insurance coverage is verified, a deposit may be necessary to cover your deductible and /or co-pay insurance portion.
We accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard and
Visa cards for payment of your account.

We may be able to help if you worry about paying the bill for your care in full. It is important that you speak with us if paying your bill or balances after insurance will be difficult. Make an appointment with a GRMC Financial Counselor.
GRMC Financial Counseling provides assistance:
- Setting up a payment schedule for your medical bills
- Discounts for self-pay patients are available with additional discounts for prompt payments
- Understanding your hospital bill
- With payments by cash, personal check, and credit card. Online payment is available.
Financial counseling is available at both the GRMC Patient Financial Services and at the Registration area inside the hospital.
