The CNA is a non-licensed caregiver of any of the nursing departments where patient care is delivered.  The CNA is responsible for limited patient care duties as assigned by the Registered Nurse. (S)he is responsible to perform duties as assigned and report any changes in the patient’s condition or other pertinent observations to the Registered Nurse and/or the nurse responsible for the patient.  (S)he is responsible to perform his/her duties in a responsible, professional manner according to his/her knowledge of the hospital and departmental policies and procedures.  (S)he will perform all duties in compliance with approved standards of care and practice as defined by Gila Regional Medical Center, and the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO).

·        Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate required.

·        Minimum of a High School graduate or GED.

·        CPR certification within 60 days of hire.

·        8 – 12 hour shifts. 

·        Must be able to work at least every other weekend.

·        Must be willing and able to work any shift, as needed. 

·        Must be flexible with scheduling requirements.
