HOME CARE SERVICES PHYSICAL THERAPIST RFT

Job summary: The Home Health Physical Therapist shall have and use the knowledge of the statutes and
regulations governing physical therapy and function within accepted boundaries of physical therapy practice as defined by the New Mexico State Board of Physical Therapy. Standards and policies accepted by the American Physical Therapy Association, Gila Regional Medical Center and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations will also be adhered to by the therapist. The home health physical therapist will function and collaborate with other members of the health care team to provide optimum patient care.
Qualifications required:

Licensed in the state of New Mexico as a Physical Therapist or eligible to obtain a temporary license upon initiation of patient care and a permanent license within 6 months.

At least 1 year of Home Health experience preferred.

CPR certification or willingness to obtain CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
Other comments:

Normally, the schedule for this position is 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, however, hours may be increased or decreased as needed.

As assigned, will assume on call responsibilities as well as work weekends and holidays on rotational basis.
