EMT BASIC IV/PARAMEDIC PRN MIMBRES AREA

Job summary: 

Under supervision of Department Director, or the Shift Paramedic for routine job duties, or under direction of the Department Medical Director, or one of his physician delegates (ER Physicians), the EMT- Basic, Intermediate, Paramedic shall perform various technical and routine duties utilizing knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, and protocols.

 
 
Qualifications required: 

• Must have a Current license as an New Mexico EMT-Basic/Intermediate/ Paramedic 
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card, Paramedic: Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS
•  Valid New Mexico Drivers License at class “D” or above
• Must meet insurance age requirement to drive hospital vehicles
• High School Diploma or GED preferred

 
Other comments: 

·        EMS duties require employee to work different shifts, different days of the week, holidays, weekends, or as assigned.

• Will work in Mimbres area
