Gila Regional Medical Center Hospice Services is an interdisciplinary team of professionals and volunteers specializing in the care and support of patients and their families who are living and coping with a terminal illness.
Hospice Services is appropriate when the illness is in the latter stages and the focus of care has shifted to comfort rather than curative treatment.

Respite care is available to Hospice patients. Patients can be admitted to the hospital for up to 5 consecutive days once per month for the sole purpose of giving the primary caregiver a rest.
Grief & bereavement services help the surviving family by providing support through the normal process of grief. Among the many services offered GRMC Hospice holds a 6-week class,
Growing through Grief. Anyone grieving the death of a loved one is welcome to call to register for this group. It isn’t an open group, people make a commitment for 6-weeks and is offered two times during the year.To recieve our

Area ServedGila Regional Medical Center Hospice Services' ability to provide quality service is limited by the expansiveness of rural New Mexico and the nature of our geography. We generally serve the Grant, Hidalgo and Luna county areas, but consider each case based upon the practicability of our being able to provide the full range of hospice services to our clients.
