The Gila Regional Medical Center Foundation has announced that they will be raising funds in the name of Dr. Adelaide Glaser to benefit the hospital’s chemotherapy department.
“We really need a pulse ox machine to monitor patients’ oxygen while they are undergoing chemotherapy‚” stated Chemotherapy Business Manager Mike Torres‚ “We would also be grateful to have another comfortable recliner for patients to use when they are undergoing chemo. We like to do everything we can to assure a person’s comfort and some of the chairs are getting kind of worn.”
Dr. Adelaide Glaser‚ who passed away in June‚ was a valued Auxiliary member at GRMC. She was the only lifetime auxiliary member and will be remembered for her devotion to volunteerism at the hospital‚ the Cancer Society of New Mexico and her involvement with the First Methodist Church.
