Gila Regional Medical Center’s Lab has successfully met the Laboratory Accreditation Program (LAP) Standards for Accreditation from the College of American Pathologists. The College of American Pathologists accreditation helps to assure a safe and properly functioning laboratory.GRMC’s Laboratory offers a full range of services which includes the new semi-automated SurePath pap smear slide preparation technology which is the latest and greatest for determining if there are abnormal cells resulting from a pap smear. GRMC Lab services also include bacteriology‚ coagulation‚ cytology processing and screening‚surgical pathology‚ toxicology‚ hematology‚ parasitology and much more.
