Gila Regional Medical Foundation Board to Host Billy Casper Benefit Golf Tournament
The Gila Regional Medical Center Foundation Board will once again be hosting the Billy Casper Benefit Golf Tournament. Mr. Billy Casper‚ one of the all-time leading money winners on both the PGA and the Senior PGA circuits‚ will be in attendance. Mr. Casper is a local legend and one of the nation’s most beloved celebrities.
This year’s Billy Casper will take place from Thursday‚ September 2nd to Saturday‚ September 4th. Along with the usual Shoot-Out on Thursday‚ the Pro-Am on Friday and the Scramble on Saturday‚ this year’s Billy Casper Benefit has some new and exciting activities.
Wednesday‚ September 1st marks the grand opening of the Labyrinth at Gila Regional Medical Center. The labyrinth has been donated to the hospital by local Rotarians and will be featured in a Chamber After Hours on September 1st from 5:00 to 7:30. The public is invited to attend.
On Thursday evening beginning at 5:30‚ Linda Kay and JP Jones will be hosting an exclusive event titled‚ “Cocktails and Delicacies with Billy.” Attendees will be sampling delicacies prepared by GRMC’s Courtyard Cafe while listening to Brandon Perrault under the trees in one of Silver City’s most beautiful homes.
Friday evening beginning at 6:30 the public is welcome to attend the “Billy Casper Magical Dinner”. Dinner will be served at the Copper Crest Country Club and will feature Stan Gerson‚ Master of Magic. Lavender Laurels has donated a center piece that will be raffled off as a door prize. Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 Stan Gerson‚ Master of Magic‚ has agreed to provide a free magic show to the public at Penny Park. Mr. Gerson is a nationally acclaimed magical talent so you won’t want to miss this performance.
