Lights Hung for Light Up A Life Ceremony

Lights are being hung in the old oak tree at Gila Regional Medical Center in preparations for the 8th Annual Light Up A Life Ceremony.

This event is open to ANYONE who wants to remember a loved one who has died. You can have your loved-one's name in the program and a light on the tree in their memory at no cost. If you bring a photo of your loved one it will be laminated and included on the tree of lights.

Drop names/photos off between 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at Gila Regional Medical Center Hospice Services or the hospital's Administration Office, 1313 E. 32 St. A voluntary donation of $5 is accepted for the Gila Regional Medical Center Foundation, a 501(c)3. Submit by Monday, December 2.

A brief ceremony is held by GRMC Hospice on December 5th, 2013 at 5:30pm, prior to the lighting of the tree. Then it is followed by refreshments provided by the GRMC Foundation. This event is sponsored by Gila Regional Medical Center's Hospice and Foundation. Info: 575-574-4934.
