We can help make a difference in your life.

Our goal is to design a program for your individual needs to accelerate your recovery.

Physical Therapists are trained to promote optimal physical function with unique skills in improving mobility, balance and strength.

Treatment may include joint mobilization, stretching, aquatic or land based exercise, education, manual therapy techniques and modalities, which may include: traction, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, ice or heat. A home exercise program will be designed specifically for you and your condition to further assist with your recovery.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapies are treatment focusing on helping people achieve independence in all areas of their lives (Activities of Daily Living).

On your initial evaluation, a Licensed Occupational Therapist will review your history and perform various tests to identify areas of dysfunction. The synthesis of this initial evaluation enables your occupational therapist to formulate your individualized treatment plan.

Treatment may include self-care retraining, joint mobilization, stretching, aquatic or land based exercise, education, manual techniques and modalities, which may include: electrical stimulation, ultrasound, ice or heat, all focused on improving your level of function in daily life. A home exercise program will be designed specifically for you and your condition to further assist with your recovery.

Some people may think that occupational therapy is only for adults; children, after all, do not have occupations. But a child's main job is playing and learning. An occupational therapist can evaluate a child's skills for play activities, school performance, and activities of daily living and compare them with what is developmentally appropriate for that age group in an effort to develop a treatment plan to address a child's needs.

According to the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), in addition to dealing with an individual's physical well-being, OT practitioners address psychological, social, and environmental factors that may hinder an individual's functioning in different ways. This unique approach makes occupational therapy a vital part of health care for kids and adults.
