Cindy has been a board-certified Nurse Practitioner for the last six (6) years and a registered nurse for 21 years. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in her area of specialty.

She worked as an RN, Med-Surg, ER, and SCU for Gila Regional Medical Center from 1998 to 2009 intermittently, and as an Education Nurse for Ft. Bayard Medical Center, in Ft. Bayard, New Mexico. Cindy was a Visiting Assistant Professor for Western New Mexico University in Silver City, New Mexico from May, 2007 to February, 2012. Cindy started working as a Nurse Practitioner in a family practice setting for Southwest Family Medicine from December, 2011 thru February, 2012 and from February, 2012 to February, 2015 for Hidalgo Medical Services. On March 1^st, 2015 she joined Gila Regional Medical Center as a primary care provider at Gila Family Medicine.

Cindy loves New Mexico due to the open spaces, the mild weathers and friendly people in our community. She loves to travel and, most off all, loves coming back home to New Mexico. Her hobbies are scuba diving, snorkeling, hiking, and cooking. Cindy has three beautiful children.
